After reports of a bug in the unicode handling in ISTool a new version was released a couple of days ago that should fix this problem.

Some time in november this year, it will be 10 years since the first version of ISTool was released. Much have happened in 10 years, and personally I haven’t used ISTool in several years. Of course Inno Setup is still my primary setup software, but the software used for creating scripts have changed. This means that this release of ISTool (version 5.3.0.1) might very well have been the last. Some years ago I uploaded the source code to SourceForge in the hope someone would want to assist with, or take over, the development. This never happened, and maintaining software I have no use for myself isn’t something I want to spend time on.

I’ve prepared a new version of ISTool for the upcoming release of Inno Setup version 5.3.0. The biggest news is the support for unicode in Inno Setup, so ISTool has been modified to support this. The latest directives and parameters from recent Inno Setup releases have also been added to ISTool.
